HIV means Human Immunodeficiency Virus.Learners should be able to explain meaning of STDS and HIV.  Pictures and chart boldly showing the names of different kind of STDsTeacher explain meaning of STDS and HIV by writing full meaning of STDS and HIV.  Learners responds by listen to their teacher and answer teacher’s questions.  
11 Types of STDS e.g. (i)   Gonorrhea
(ii)  Syphilis
(iii)  Herpes.

(i)Using some body piercing (sharp) objects. (ii)List the effect of transmission of effected blood. 4Personal Hygiene and Physical Development.–   Meaning of Personal  Hygiene and Physical Development of children at Pre Adolescence  stage. –  Personal way of taking care of our bodies.(i)  Learners should be able to define personal hygiene and physical development. (ii)  Learners should be able to observe their family age 10 and above  Soap, water, blade, comb, wall chart.  Showing the picture of a girl and boy from 10 years and above.i) Explain meaning of personal hygiene and ii) characteristics fof physical development of children at pre-adolescence.Learners listen to their teacher and answer questions.
5.Personal Hygiene and Physical Development.Factors that can hinder healthy growth in children e.g. (a)   Infections (b)  Poor feeding
(c) Over working etc.
Learners should be able to enumerate factors that can hinder health growth in children.  Pictures of a boy having kwashiorkor.Teach the learners the factors that can hinder growth in children. –   What they should do to fresh.  Learners listen to their teacher and ask questions.
6Personal Hygiene and Physical Development.Things to do to be physically fit. –   Eat nourishing food and balanced diets. –  Have enough rest and sleep. –  Regular exercise.Learners should be able to enumerate things to do to be physically fit.Pictures and chart. 7Personal Hygiene and Physical Development.Effects of improper care e.g.

8Personal Hygiene and Physical Development.(a)Characteristics of house hold population and the effects on personal hygiene . 
(b)The number of people living in a house determine the ease of observing personal hygiene etc.
